What to Expect

A full guided tour of all ten garden areas led by Clare, with discussion of plants, Latin names, and gardening tips. Tea and cake are served in the orangery at the end.

Open Day

An annual Open Day is held in early June when the garden is at its best and the wildflower field is just coming into bloom. Tea and cake are served in the orangery. Check back for this year's date.

How to arrange your visit

  1. Email Clare at clare.bevan@ngs.org.uk with your preferred date and the size of your group.
  2. Clare will confirm availability and agree a time that works for everyone.
  3. On the day, arrive at Bridge End Cottage in Ockham. Clare will be there to welcome you and begin the tour.
  4. After exploring the garden, relax with tea and cake in the orangery and ask Clare any questions you have.
